Who Can Participate

Mentees

  • UG Medical Students

  • PG Dermatology Students

  • Dermatology Residents (PLM)

  • Early-career dermatologists (0–5 years)

Mentors

  • Experienced BSLMS Life Members

Senior dermatologists with expertise in lasers, EBDs, rejuvenation & regenerative dermatology

Mentorship Models

A. 1-to-1 Mentorship

Personalized guidance for residents or early-career dermatologists.

B. Group Mentorship

One mentor working with 5–10 mentees in monthly sessions.

C. Micro-Mentorship

Short, topic-based sessions (20–45 minutes) led by experts.

How Matching Works

Mentees and mentors are matched based on:

  • Area of clinical interest

  • Experience level

  • Preferred format (1:1 or group)

  • Career goals

Program Structure

Orientation

Introduces the program, goals, boundaries, and expectations.

Monthly Sessions

Case reviews, protocol discussions, Q&A, and progress planning.

Workshop Integration

Mentees are encouraged to attend BSLMS hands-on programs and 3D learning events.

Research Support

Mentors may help with papers, cases, abstract submissions, or academic growth.

Completion Review

Simple assessment and feedback at the end of the cycle.
